The SHW Chardonnay was created with fruit from our high altitude vineyards. A fraction of this wine spent four months in French and American Oak barrels to extract classy aromas such as vanilla – creamy notes. The remaining fraction developed a peculiar array of intense fruit flavours ranging from pineapple to butterscotch aromas. The palate is smooth and silky medium bodied and it has a fresh and tangy finish.
This wine would be best served with wild oysters, smoked salmon, creamy Italian dishes and Thai food.
